Elizabeth Barbour

Elizabeth Barbour, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 27th, 2008. A recent window of Major Paul Pershing Barbour (U.S. Army, Ret.), was born in Hollis, New York on September 15, 1919. A person of extraordinary strength, character and courage, Betty Barbour successfully balanced her role as devoted army wife and mother with a life of unfailing imagination and insight. She has given her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren a rich inheritance that included the love of music, unbounded humor, appreciation for individuality, and deep intelligence. Elizabeth leaves her daughter Phyllis and her husband Bill; her daughter Chris and her husband Tom; her daughter Joanie and her husband Juan; and her only son Bruce and his wife Beth; grandchildren Christian, Jonathan, Jessica, Paul, Megan, Travis, Liana, Joshua and his wife Monica, Caleb and his wife Emily, and Noel and her husband Lance; and great grandchildren Chyna, Elijah, Emma, Catherine, John Michael, Jacob, Valentine, and Scarlett.Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-West
