Elias Hernandez

Leo Hernandez, 68, passed away November 9th peacefully in his son’s home, surrounded by his loved ones. Leo spent most of his life in El Paso around his beloved neighborhood of Tigua. He was an independent Tile Installer and later was employed by the family business. Leo’s passions in life were Hot Rods, Car Racing, Sports and the companionship of his furry friends. He will always be remembered as a kind and giving person. We will miss our “Papa Leo”. Leo is survived by his two sons: Victor Hernandez and Joey Hernandez. His grandchildren: Iris Hernandez, Hopie Hernandez, Michael Hernandez, Sheena Hernandez, Justin Hernandez, & Lauren Hernandez; Daughters in law: Isis Hernandez & Tami Hernandez; Loving Brother and Sisters: Daniel Hernandez , Maria de los Angeles Baca and Maria Luisa Carrillo; Nephew: Oscar “Chito” Hernandez; Nieces: Roxanne Morales, Maria Eugenia Hernandez and the extended families of Orozco, Cera, Hernandez of El Paso, Ciudad Juarez and Fabens, Tx. Visitation will be Monday November 13, 2006 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a Scripture Service at 7:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East; located at 750 N. Carolina Dr..
