Edward Sochat,D.D.S.

Edward Sochat, D.D.S., Beloved husband, father and brother passed away on December 9 at the age of 73. Edward was a gentle and kind man who was much loved by his family and friends. His friendships lasted from childhood throughout his life, and he was admired as a caring dentist. Ed served in the Air Force after graduating from the Northwestern School of Dentistry. After retiring from his dental practice, Ed became a “Mr. Fix-it”. He liked to play golf, have lunch with his friends and enjoy the home he and Nancy shared. Retirement for him was special, and he was always available to help others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Morry and Elsie Sochat and his nephew Fred Borenstein. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, sons Morry and Jimmy Sochat, and sister Fran Zimet. He is also survived by his niece Gail Gooley and Robert, Randy and Ryan Swan. Graveside services will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery on Monday, December 14, at 2:30 p.m. Rabbi Larry Bach will officiate. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
