Eduwiges C Gonzalez, 88, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2023 at her home in El Paso, Texas. She was born on February 1, 1935 in Saltillo Coahuila México to Dimpna Araiza and Juan Campos.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Manuel González, her son Albert González and her sister Guadalupe Campos.

Eduwiges is survived by nine children; Dolores González, Terry Vargas and husband Manny, Martha Resendez, Manuel González Jr., Irene Martinez and husband Gilbert, Magdalena Talamantes and husband Chris, Gloria Garcia and husband Mario, Margie Loy and husband Oscar and Veronica Reveles.She is also survived by her siblings Fidel Campos, Ventura Campos and Soledad Chavez.

Eduwiges was also blessed with grandchildren and great grandchildren;

Eduwiges lived a life devoted to God, the Blessed Virgin Mary, her husband Manuel and all her family. She will be missed by all.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 6:00 PM on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina, El Paso, Texas 79915. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church ,131 S. Zaragoza, El Paso, TX 79907. A Graveside Service will then follow at 11:00 AM at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza, El Paso, TX 79907.
