Eduardo Barajas

Eduardo Barajas 1919-2013, from Anthony, NM, was born in Santa Rita, NM. Survived by his wife Celina Barajas of 73 years, daughter Lupe Oliver and husband Henry Oliver from Anthony, NM, son Eduardo Jr (Eddie) and his wife Barbara from Charlotte, NC, granddaughters Elaine Geherty, Las Cruces, NM, Celina Marie Oliver from Charlotte, NC and Kathleen Atkins from Lessbury, VA. He worked with the U. S. Boundry Commission and The Southern Pacific Railroad. He retired as a boilermaker/welder in the Construction Trades. Mr. Barajas wa a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (Anthony, NM). He also served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer in the China Burma India (CBI) Theater of Operations. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Monday, February 4, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:15 am, Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
