Edna N. Thoreson

Edna N. Thoreson, 90, went to be with The Lord Wednesday, October 7, 2009. She was born December 31, 1918. Edna taught school 47 years; 2 years in Oklahoma, 38 years in the Ysleta District and 7 years at Immanuel Christian School. She was a dedicated wife, teacher, mother and grandmother with a gift for hospitality and a heart for helping others. She is preceded in death by her husband Gail A. Thoreson, her sister Pauline Sisson, and brothers George and Farley Nichelson. She is survived by her daughters Karen Thoreson and Martha Thoreson Mosher, son-in-law Steven Mosher, and grandchildren David Mosher and wife Renee, Robert Mosher and wife Kathryn, and Gail Anne Mosher. She is dearly loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed, but we know that she is with The Lord and we will one day be reunited with her. Gathering of friends and family will be from 6-8 pm on Monday, October 12, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Service will be at 9 am Tuesday, October 13, at Del Sol Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests a memorial gift to Wycliffe Associates.
