Edna Dorothy Clemons

EDNA DOROTHY CLEMONS was daughter to the late Clinton and Mary Cope of Burlington, NJ. Edna was born in Burlington County, Mt. Holly City. She graduated from Burlington City High School. She served her Country proudly in the United States Army for fifteen years and retired in 1994. Edna worked as a DA civilian for the Warrior Transition Unit Clinic for eleven years and was in the process of retiring. Edna received her Associate of Science, Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology she also received her certification as a Dental Assistant. She loved ocean views and walking on the beach, traveling, reading, shopping, and she enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows. Edna was preceded in death by Clinton and Mary Cope, sister Mary Jasmeene Calvin. She leaves behind her husband of twenty nine years Bobby R. Clemons. Three children, Cedric A. Cope, Lashaunda Y. Clemons, and Michael J. Clemons, one grandchild, Michael A . Cope. Four Siblings, Bernardo, Clinton, Demetrius, and Lloyd Cope. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Homes Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30am on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Sun City Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, 9609 Rutledge Place. Burial will follow at 1:30pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
