Doyle Dean Benortham

Doyle Dean Benortham was born May 12, 1961 in El Paso, TX and passed away November 30, 2009. He served 6 years in the United States Army. He worked with the Civil Service for the German Air Force. He had many friends with the German Air Force where they became more than coworkers, they were like extended family. He loved his job and his friends and they seem to feel the same towards him. Dean was well liked by so many. When anyone needed help, he was there to lend a hand. He was a loving son, brother, step father and uncle. The void in our hearts and lives is incomprehensible. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jo Ann, his mother, Vera Benortham, and his brother, Duane Benortham. He is survived by his father, Doyle, step mother, Joyce, his brothers, Don, Daryl, and Dolan Benortham and step brother, Kyle Bryan, mother in law, Betty Sewell, step sons, Rick and Tony Guerra, sister in law, Margie, brother in laws, Lee Sewell and Bob (Donna) Sewell, niece, Katrina (Danny, son, Jacob), his nephews, Danny and Dennis who are in the Army Reserves serving in Iraq, Dorin and David Benortham, his aunts, Deloris (Dennis Newton), Donna (Ronnie Moore) and several cousins. Pallbearers will be members of the German Air Force. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm, Monday, December 7, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast with Bishop Richard Johnson of Destiny Family Christian Center officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Service entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
