Dorothy Dee Sloan Underwood

Dorothy Dee Sloan Underwood passed away on October 10, 2008 in the comfort of her home in El Paso, Texas with her brother and sister-in-law at her side. She was born on July 12, 1945 in Startex, South Carolina. Dee was a longtime resident of Charlotte, North Carolina and was employed by Robinson, Bradshaw and Hinson, P.A. before relocating to El Paso last October. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ansel Sloan and Ethel DeYoung Sloan. She is survived by her brother Michael Sloan and his wife, Josephine of El Paso, Texas, and her niece, Brooke Faith Sloan Guerrero of Charlotte, NC. Her family would like to express their gratitude to CIMA Hospice for their special care and dignified service, and to her friends and co-workers for all their thoughts and prayers. Dee left behind a legacy of courage, love and grace. Services will be private.
