Dorothy LaFitte

Dorothy B. LaFitte passed away on March 26, 2021 at her home, Loving Home, with her family and caregivers. She was born on June 10, 1925 to Geraldine and Lonnie Boatwright in Tampa, Florida. El Paso Naural Gas Company brought her and family to El Paso in 1969. She had the kindest heart and a true zest for life. She enjoyed playing bridge, even later playing online and tennis with friends at El Paso Country Club. She was always open to trying something new. She dearly loved her family, friends and her many dogs. She was preceded in death by her husband Foch LaFitte Sr and her parents. She is survived by her children LaDona (Richard) Moore, Foch LaFitte Jr, Michelle (John) McDuffee and John LaFitte; her grandsons Kevin (Mandy) Moore, Ryan (Lisa) Moore and Ian McDuffee; her great grandchildren Scarlett Moore, and Brennan, John Robert, and Annabelle Moore. A heartfelt thank you to Teresa Diaz, her caregivers Dora, Raquel, Lupita and Belinda of Envision Hospice. We love you mom and we are going to miss you.
