Dorothy (Dottie) Chrapliwy

Dorothy (Dottie) Chrapliwy 79, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away at home on April 1, 2007, six months after being diagnosed with cancer. She is survived by her children, Joseph Armstrong (Kathleen), Robert Armstrong, Michael Armstrong (Becki), Sandra Critchfield (Brad); seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild and many wonderful friends. Dottie was a dedicated teacher in the El Paso School District for 26 years. Her life’s purpose was to serve others and be an example of Christ’s love for which she will be most remembered. The family would like to give special thanks to Karen Breitschopf, her home health care nurse, who so lovingly cared for Mom and is considered one of the family. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home 480 N. Resler on April 4th between 5pm to 9pm. Services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church on April 5th at 2pm.
