DOROTHY BETTS (1918-2008) lived a full life. Departed Minnesota 1946 to travel the world as an Army wife. Retired from El Paso National Bank after a 25-year career. Wonderful wife, mother and a great friend. Predeceased by husband, Major Verdon Betts. Survived by daughter Mary; brother and sister-in-law: Marlowe and Darlene Bacon; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Pearl and Al Bjork; nephew Mark Bacon; nieces Cathy Pagone, Laura Bacon, Kim Conradi and their children. Thanks to VNA and hospice. In lieu of flowers send donations to any diabetic charity. Memorial service will be held at Blessed Sacrament, 9025 Diana on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 10:00 am. Interment will be private at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
