Doris Margareta Petrie

Doris Margareta Petrie went home to our Lord and Savior on November 13, 2023.

Doris was born in Ludwigshafen, Germany on February 21, 1935. She was married to Jack H. Petrie for 59 years. Doris was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many. Doris is survived by her husband Jack H. Petrie of El Paso, Texas, her sister Sigrid (Sigi) Moench of Ludwigshafen, Germany, her daughter, Margareta D. Smith, and husband Leigh E. Smith Jr., of El Paso, Texas, and her grandson Ryan E. Smith also of El Paso, Texas. In lieu of flowers Doris requested donations to the El Paso Humane Society in loving memory of all the pets she and Jack cared for over the years.

Committal Service will take place at 1:30 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson.
