Doris Jean Lovorn Thomson

Doris Jean Lovorn Thomson, age 90, entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 26, 2023. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and will be greatly missed. Doris is preceded in death by her parents; William and Essie Lovorn and her son; Robert Reed Thomson. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years; Ronald Reed Thomson, daughters; Rhonda Lowenfield (Clay), Brenda Valadez (Rudy), grandchildren; Justin Lowenfield (Noelle), Luke Lowenfield (Stacey), Ronald Lowenfield (Ashley), Miles Lowenfield (Regina), Colton Reed Thomson (Katherine), Caitlin Bateman (Carl), Trey Valadez, Tori Valadez Garcia (John Joseph), Tessa Valadez Kennedy (Chris) and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at St. Clement’s Church; 810 N. Campbell St., El Paso, Texas 79902.

Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made to St. Clement’s Church.
