Donna Lorraine Gale

Donna Lorraine Gale, teacher at Irvin High School, was born in Santa Fe, NM in 1952 and passed away in El Paso, TX on May 14, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Sylvia Gale, and her brother, Steve Gale. She is survived by her brothers, Fred, Paul, and Charlie Gale as well as her close friend and companion of 17 years, Charlotte Clarke. Donna’s family moved from Santa Fe, NM to El Paso, TX in 1962. She graduated from Austin High School in 1971. Donna received a BA in Computer Programming from UTEP in 1994 and completed her Alternative Certification in Special Education, becoming a teacher for EPISD in 1995. She taught BIC classes at Crosby and Schuster Elementary before joining the faculty at Irvin High School in 2003. Donna taught her students Life Skills from 2003 to the present. Services are Sunday, May 20 at 3:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 4631 Hondo Pass. Come join us after the service for a Celebration of Donna’s Life at Charlotte’s home.
