Donald T. Corbin

In Memory of a Loving Disciple, Husband, Father, and Friend, Donald Corbin, 77, passed away August 25, 2007 in El Paso, TX. He was born April 10, 1930 in Cincinatti, OH to James and Rosa Lee Corbin. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 27 1/2 years. He was a decorated veteran and completed numerous tours of duty worldwide. Donald Corbin once said: “I came , I saw, and I wondered if I could fit in.” The Lord answered, “Yes”, so I tried to touch everyone with my light. He will best be remembered for his smile, warmth and personality; for, he was always willing to help in any way possible to make the lives of others more pleasant. Thank you for leaving us with loving memories and all of the tools to succeed in life. Love Always, Your Family. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlene; sons: Donald Jr. and Kendall; and daughters: Joya and Venetia. Visitation will be held from 6-9 pm, Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 9:30 am, Friday, August 31, 2007 at Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Services Entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
