Donald Leo Anderson

Donald Leo Anderson, 64, was called home to our Lord on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Donald was a compassionate, loving and thoughtful father, brother and grandfather. He was proud of his Navy service and his career in nursing, where he recently retired from the Emergency room at WBAMC . Along with his love of nursing, he was a dedicated family man, loved the outdoors, his cars and making people laugh. He is survived by his daughters, Casey Rosa (Craig) from Idaho and Angela Batesel (Nathan) of North Carolina. 4 Grandchildren, Brittany Rosa and Challis Shockey (Zachary) and Edward and Renaye Feldt. 4 Sisters, Barbara Cox, Teresa Ouchley, Diane Anderson and Cindy Anderson, and 1 brother, Fred Anderson. Donald will be remembered most for his smile, strength, guidance, and overwhelming generosity. The family would like to thank La Mariposa Hospice as well as Dr. Inez Sanchez of the El Paso Cancer Treatment Center. In addition the staff at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and all of their family friends who have shown tremendous love and compassion during this difficult time.
