Dolores T. Orrantia

Dolores T. Orrantia (Lolita) was born on April 20, 1933 in Chihuahua, Mexico to the late Inez Paniagua. She passed on Sunday June 21, 2009 and is now with God. She received her education in Mexico, worked at a few doctors offices and Casas de Cambio. She then met her husband and emigrated to the United States to marry and raise a family. They were married for 55 years. Mrs. Orriantia lovingly raised her five sons and started her career after the youngest reached sixth grade. She studied and earned her GED, US citizenship, and received her LVN Nursing Degree, She worked at Dr. Unger’s Allergy Clinic, Providence Memorial Hospital and Tillman Health Clinic. Mrs. Orrantia was preceded in death by her husband Fernando, sons; Fernando and Ruben, her siblings, Margarita, Alfredo, Ascencion, Augustin, Francisco, El Chino and Jose Angel. She is survived by her sons; Juan, Gerardo and Hernando, brother, Roberto Navarro, sisters, Sara Trujillo and Esperanza Sanchez and 5 grandchildren, Jerry Jr., MarcoAntonio, Renee, Sara, Fernando and Francesca and a host of aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. Visitation will be from 5-9 pm on Thursday, June 25, 2009 with a Vigil at 6:30 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Service will also be at Sunset Funeral Home-East at 11 am Friday, June 26, 2009. Cremation will take place after service with ashes to be buried with her husband at a later date.
