Dolores V. De La Rosa

Dolores V. De La Rosa, 96 , passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 24, 2013. Dolores was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas and an active member of the Catholic Community at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Our Dolores was the type of person who always opened up her home and heart to everyone in need. She is preceded in death by her son, Raul Grijalva and her grandson, Jose Oniel Grijalva, Jr. She is survived by her three sons; Ruben Grijalva (Maria), Jose Oniel Grijalva (Rita) and Osvaldo Grijalva; Daughters, Rosalia Garcia (Manuel) and Elpidia Pineda; Grandchildren, 14; Great Grandchildren, 34; Great Great Grandchildren, 18; Sister, Josefina Parra. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 9:00 PM Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 10:00 AM., Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Our lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church . Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Mrs. De La Rosa’s Family would like to thank Odysey Hospice for all their love and care and a special thanks to her wonderful caregivers Martha, Lorena and Librada.
