Our beloved mother Dionisia V. Aguirre went to heaven on Wednesday September 8, 2021 at the age of 89 years. She was a resident of El Paso, Texas. Dionisia whom was known by many as "Alicia", was born in Mexico and came to the United States at a very young age full of ambitions and aspirations to help her family. She worked hard in a factory for 33 years as a Sewing Machine Operator until she retired. Dionisia left a Legacy of service to God. As a religious lay woman, she served at the El Paso County Jail for seventeen years as a Jail Minister bringing the word of God to the women inmates. She also served at the El Paso Juvenile Detention as a Youth Gang Minister for four years. She became a Lay Carmelite of the Third Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel wearing her scapular faithfully. She evangelized family and friends by living a humble way, demonstrating unconditional love and caring ways always filled with gratitude. Everyone knew where to go for words of wisdom and comfort.
