Dimas was welcomed home by our Heavenly Father surrounded by family and friends on the 23rd of February. In his 62 years of life, he touched more than family and friends. He gave generously of his time and talents through his active involvement in such organizations as: Early Childhood Intervention, Special Olympics, Northeast Rotary Club, and was an active member of St. Stephens Catholic Church. He also retired from El Paso Electric Co. and also Southwest Airlines. He is survived by loving wife of 40 years Carmen, son, Erik; daughter; Jo Ann; granddaughters; Renee and Sara; parents Socorro and Dimas Sr.; siblings; Esteban, Danny, Lilly and Rosy. Vigil will be from 7pm to 9pm on the 26th of February 2009 at St, Stephens Catholic Church at 1700 George Dieter Drive. The Memorial Mass will begin at 10 am on Friday, the 27 of February at St. Stephens Catholic Church. His compassionate, loving, humble and gentle spirit will live on through all who were blessed to have known him. Not only his door, but his heart was open to all.
