Dennis E. Stewart

Dennis "Denny" E. Stewart went to heaven on Friday, September 14, 2012 at the age of 62. He will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, and friend. He touched all our lives with his stories, love, dedication, and his zest for life. Dennis leaves behind a loving wife Alicia and four loving children; Edward, Kathleen, Jacqueline, and Christine, as well as many beloved friends. Family, friendships, computers, music, and helping others were among his many passions. He was born in Manhattan, New York to Edward Hugh and Kathleen Mary Stewart. He attended Sachem High School in Lake Ronkonkoma New York and later studied writing at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. Dennis served his country in the Army. His service in the military brought him here to El Paso where he taught Computer Science at the International School of Business and later had his own Computer Support and Networking Business. When he met his wife his dream of having a family was fulfilled. El Paso has been his home for more the 35 years and he will be dearly missed. “Denny,” may your heavenly journey be easier, softer and free from all pain, until we meet again we will carry your memory in our hearts. Graveside Service will be held at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
