David I Silva

David I. Silva, 80, passed away on April 26, 2007. He was born and raised in Smelter Town. Mr. Silva moved to Sunset Heights in 1966 and lived there until he passed away. Mr. Silva retired from Asarco after serving 39 years. He was preceded in his death by his parents Mr. and. Mrs. Indalecio Silva, sisters, Alicia Vargas, Ramona Torfin, Celia Chavez, brothers, Mariano, Jesus Manuel Silva. Mr. Silva is survived by his wife, Alicia O. Silva, sons, Carlos F. Silva, James D. Silva, Able Silva, David I. Silva, and daughter, Iren Stout. He is also survived by his brothers, Enrique Silva, Salvador Silva, Jose Angel Silva, sisters, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Francisca Espinosa, Julia Davis, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 9 pm, Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a vigil at 7 pm. The Silva family will begin to receive relatives and friends at 9 am, Monday, April 30, 2007 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Sunset Heights. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 am, Monday, April 30 2007 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
