David “Bibi” V. Lujan Jr., age, 81 entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in El Paso, Texas. He retired from the Veterans Administration and the Naval Reserve as Master Chief. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and will be greatly missed. David is preceded in death by his parents; David A. Lujan and Juana Vasquez, as well as his beloved wife; Yolanda D. Lujan. He is survived by his children; Sonia Alpers and husband John Alpers, Gabby Lujan and wife Andrea Lujan, Ken Lujan and wife Mary Lujan, and Janie Lujan and husband Ahmed Tawashi, his sisters, Irene Lujan, and Margie Nevarez, as well as eight grandchildren, Zachary, Alyssa, Nathan, Nina, Adrienne, Isaac, Stella and Jennah. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 with a Rosary to commence at 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Homes-West. A mass will follow at 9:15am on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Graveside Service will follow at 11:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery; 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906
