David Charles Galatzan

David Charles Galatzan, born February 1, 1952 in El Paso, Texas to Morris and Irene Galatzan, David died June 28, 2022. He was a wonderful son, brother, and friend and will be greatly missed. David is preceded in death by his loving parents.  He is survived by sister Judith Weiser in El Paso, sister Sandi Clements and nephew Eric Parraz in Dallas, and nieces Meredith Steinhart and Susan Crow in Dallas.  He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.

David was a Professor and Chairman of the Commercial Arts Department at the Community College in El Paso and created the Advertising Graphics & Design Program. He was a tenured faculty member who influenced numerous EPCC students.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home- West. Those who cannot attend in person may join the funeral and memorial services virtually on Face book Live at
