David Harry Corby

David H. Corby, 63, passed away Monday, October 29, 2007 in El Paso, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ruth Corby. Survived by his wife Chong Suk Corby, son Jason Brown and his wife Jennifer, son Jack Brown, sister Charlotte Ray and her husband Wayne of Fort Worth, TX, sister Nancy Heath and her husband John of Marshall, TX, 3 grandchildren, 2 nephews, 1 niece whom he all loved dearly. David was born in Mason City, Iowa on January 13, 1944. He graduated from UTEP with a Masters Degree and worked as a college professor for several Universities and loved teaching. He served in the Vietnam War for the US army and received the Purple Heart Award. He will be dearly missed by everyone whom he knew and loved. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm, Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm, Friday, November 2, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
