David Cedillo

David Cedillo, 77, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Teacher, and Musician was called to his eternal resting place on November 25, 2021. He entered this world on June 10, 1944, in El Paso, Texas, born to Gabriel and Tommie Cedillo. He received a Bachelors degree in Spanish and a minor degree in Music. He taught Orchestra, Band, and Spanish in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Texas. He was an accomplished musician who played his trumpet in church, civic orchestras, and mariachi bands. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Abigail Cedillo; son David Cedillo, Jr. (Jenny); son Nick Lujan (Crystal); daughter Darla Jean Grant (Steve); daughter Dianna Lujan-Enriquez (Gabriel, Jr.); brother Gabriel Cedillo, IV; brother Joe Cedillo; brother Steve Cedillo; brother Rick Cedillo; sister Thelma Cedillo; sister Naomi Cedillo. He is also leaves behind his 12 grandchildren; Joshua Lujan, Abby Enriquez, Mary Lynn Grant, Sara Grant, Jane Grant, Matthew Enriquez, Anthony Lujan, Nicole Lujan, Dominick Lujan, Nicholas Lujan, Sarai Lujan, and Vanika Lujan to cherish his memory. A visitation will be on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery in Santa Teresa, NM.
