David Castaneda

David Castaneda was born August 11, 1965 and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1983. Worked as chef and truck driver for Fort Bliss. He was huge contributor for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church as a parishioner helping and volunteering with annual festivals and numerous fund raisers with the church. His is survived by his parents Daniel III & Nena Castaneda, his brother Daniel IV and wife Becky and nieces Alyssa and Sarah and nephew Tristian. Preceded in death by his brother Dickey and maternal grandparents Cruz and Lucia Estrada and paternal grandparents Daniel II and Estefana Castaneda. David would always light up the room with his smile and quick wit and humor. He will greatly be missed by all that loved him. His services will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, viewing is 9-11am followed by the rosary @11am and immediately following will be the funeral. Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Alderete, AJ Baeza, Tristian Castaneda, Jerry Duran, Mark Estrada, Nathaniel Estrada, Raul Reyes, & Fernie Trujillo.
