Darent Peter Cador

Darent Peter Cador was born in Tacoma, Washington on October 15, 1960. He was raised in El Paso, Texas. Darent entered active duty in the U.S. Air Force in July of 1978 and remained with the Air Force until his retirement on July 31, 1998 after 20 honorable years of service. He went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University. After his retirement from the military he went to work for Chevron as a station manager. He left Chevron to work in Civil Service and had spent the last 3 years as an education technician at Travis A.F.B. Darent was an avid Saints fan who really loved the game of Football. Darent passed away on April 28, 2012 with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack V. and Curley M. Cador and brother, Joseph Cador. He leaves behind to cherish him, his beloved wife of 28 years, Veronica Cador; 3 daughters, Darnesha Gardere, Felicia Crawford and Kena Cador; son, Darent "Cory" Cador; 2 grandchildren, Brian and Giuliana Gardere; brother, Mack V. Cador Jr.; sister, Doris Fant and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm, Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 1:30pm, Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
