Daniel "Gigi" Vega

It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel “Gigi” Vega announces his passing after a battle with cancer on Tuesday, September 18th at the age of 57. Born November 2nd to Francisco and Aurora Vega his work ethic was unmatched, enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and brought joy to so many people. Gigi was preceded in death by his brother Bibi (Rosie). He is survived by his children Melissa (John) Bustillos, Bryanna Wagner, Daniel Vega Jr, Kelly Vega, 5 grandchildren, his parents, brothers Jimmy, David, Mario (Renee) and sisters Margy (Jerry), Annie, Alice (Dan) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast at 4631 Hondo Pass Drive. Saturday, September 22, 2018, meet at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast at 8:00am with procession to Blessed Sacrament Church, 9025 Diana, for a Funeral Mass at 9:00am. Committal Service to follow at 10:00am at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 4848 Alps Drive. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
