Daniel Antonio Mergil

Daniel Antonio Mergil passed away on April 29th, 2023, in his hometown of El Paso, Texas. He was born on August 13th, 1995, to his loving parents Guillermo Raphael Salgado and Rebecca Isabel Mergil.

Daniel was a kind-hearted and charismatic young man with a smile that could light up a room. He made everyone around him feel special and always went out of his way to help those in need.

He is survived by his common-law wife, Tiffany Christina Gonzalez, daughter Mary Faith Mergil,  his father Guillermo Raphael Salgado, his mother Rebecca Isabel Mergil, his brothers Alejandro Quiroz III, Juan Diego Quiroz, Angel Armando Mergil, as well as his paternal grandmother Martha Salgado and maternal grandparents Juan Pablo and Maria Luz Mergil.

Daniel's life will be celebrated on May 12th, 2023. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM.  The Funeral Service will conclude the night starting at 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Homes - Northeast located at 4631 Hondo Pass in El Paso, Texas. 

Daniel will always be remembered for his infectious positivity and kindness towards others. His passing has left a void in the hearts of everyone who knew him. We take comfort knowing that he is now at peace in the arms of God, watching over us all with love. Rest in peace Daniel Antonio Mergil.
