Daniel Gaskill,

Daniel Gaskill, Jr., 70, of El Paso died May 30, 2010. Born on March 14, 1940, in Wildwood, New Jersey to Aleen Bernice Gaskill and the late Daniel Gaskill. Dan served his country in the United States Army where he retired at the rank of Master Sergeant. He completed three tours of duty in Vietnam. Dan continued his service to his country through employment with defense contractors. Dan loved the outdoors, whether fishing or just a walk in the woods or the desert. He was at home. Dan was preceded in death infant daughter Maria and by daughter Brigitte. He was also preceded in death by sister Fran Gaskill Camp and brother Carl Gaskill. He is survived by Irmgard Gaskill, wife, Barbara Gaskill Eilers, daughter, Daniel Gaskill, son, Linda Gaskill Moore, daughter, 7 grand children and 10 great-grandchildren. Dan is also survived by brothers Bob Gaskill, Steve Gaskill, Jack Gaskill and Ron Gaskill. Visitation from 5:00-9:00 pm, Monday, June 7, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Funeral Service will be at 9:00 am, Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Interment will follow to Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
