December 16, 1948 — March 4, 2021

Daniel Garcia, 72 Daniel (Cowboy Dan) was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He graduated from Ysleta High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He was a major contributor to the traffic control industry in the El Paso community. He is survived and loved by his daughters Michelle (James Husband) and Jessica, his sisters Priscilla and Norma, and former spouse Ruth. He was a grandfather to; Jacob, Mia, Justin, Destiny, Toni and Victoria. He was the cool uncle, cousin and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his mother Carolina. He was always willing to help others and was able to come up with solutions to problems quickly. He was well known, had a big heart and he never met a stranger. He was funny, open, and could light up a crowd with his larger than life personality. He was a Dallas Cowboy fan, enjoyed watching movies, restoring automobiles, and spending time with his grandchildren. Cowboy Dan Rides Away to Heaven! Please Do Not Send Flowers.
