Daniel E Batten

Dan passed away on March 2, 2018 in the presence of his family. He was born on June 25, 1938 in Wisconsin, spent his childhood in Montana, after serving 20 dutiful years in the US Army he retired and raised his family in El Paso where he worked 20 additional years for the City of El Paso. He is survived by Sandra, his wife of 40 years, his two daughters, Kimberly and Melissa, his son-in-law, Brian, two grandsons, Brent and Camden, and his brother Doug. Dan was a loving and hardworking father, grandfather, and husband. At this time the family requests privacy, and in lieu of flowers, gifts, and home visits, thoughts and prayers would be well received. Gathering of Remembrance will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with Military Honors beginning at 5:45pm and Funeral Service following at 6:00pm on Wednesday, March 07, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass.
