Cynthia Hernandez

Cynthia (Cindy) Hernandez, 49, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

Cindy was born in Los Angeles, California on August 14, 1974.  She attended the David L. Carrasco Job Corps Center in El Paso, TX and worked in the retail industry and accounting field early into her career before becoming a full-time mom, grandma, daughter, and sister. She loved to travel and was an avid fan of Disney's Mickey Mouse and Goofy.

Cindy was the beloved daughter of Maria del Rosario Zuñiga and the late Edgar Hernandez, Sr.; loving sister Rosie Hernandez-Campa (Joel); and proud brothers Edgar Hernandez, Jr. (Paty) and Christopher Zuñiga (Marisol).  She leaves behind her adoring partner of nine years, Manny Caldera; devoted daughter Genevieve Alexis Flores; dignified son Nehemiah Saul Echevarria; and three beautiful grandchildren, Amayiah Camille Pike, Kayden Ahmir Roddey, and Ayvianna Zaeyani Rodgers.

Evening Viewing will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Eulogy at 6:00 pm, on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes – East at 750 N. Carolina, El Paso, TX 79915.

Morning Visitation will be held from 8:00 am to 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes – East at 750 N. Carolina, immediately followed by Interment at 11:00 am at Evergreen East Cemetery at 12400 East Montana, El Paso, TX 79938.
