Curtis J. Capps

Curtis J. Capps born on April 16, 1930 in Pea Ridge, Kentucky, life long resident, business owner of El Paso and retired US Army Sgt. Major passed away on November 7, 2010. He is preceded in death by his son, Steve Capps. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rosa E. Capps and eight children; Rose Register, Linda Vega, Elizabeth Brantley, David (Anna) Capps, Wanda (Jeff) Pizzillo-Taylor, Tina Capps, Mark (Patricia) Capps, and Jennifer Capps. He will also be greatly missed by his 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Norma Frantz, Irene McIntosh, Tvonne Cable, and Marie Nessler, and brothers, Douglas and Eddie Capps. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Committal Service will be at 10:00 am, Friday, November 12, 2010 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Interment will follow to Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
