Cruz Conde

Cruz Conde, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to many, passed away peacefully at home in El Paso, Texas on July 15, 2023. She was born on May 10, 1935 in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Cruz cherished spending time with her family and friends. Family meant the world to her, and she was known for her unwavering support and love towards them. Cruz was preceded in death by her father Federico Godoy, her mother Josefa Conde, her brother Dionicio Conde, and her sister Margarita Lozano Conde.

Cruz leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She is survived by her daughter Maria Cristina Martinez and her son Federico Conde. Their memories of Cruz will forever be treasured in their hearts.

In remembrance of Cruz's life, there will be Visitation Services held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on July 21, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Homes - East located at 750 N. Carolina in El Paso. A Rosary Service will take place on the same day from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location for friends and loved ones to gather and remember Cruz.

A Mass will be held on July 22, 2023, at Christ the Savior Catholic Church situated at 5301 Wadsworth Ave in El Paso. The Mass will begin at noon, allowing those who knew Cruz to come together and celebrate her life.

Following the Mass, Cruz will be laid to rest at Evergreen East Cemetery, located at 12400 Montana Ave in El Paso. The interment service will take place at 1:30 PM, providing an opportunity for final goodbyes and a chance to pay respects to a remarkable woman.

Cruz Conde's presence in our lives will be deeply missed, but her legacy will endure through the memories she created. Her devotion to family and her gentle spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. We take solace in knowing that she has found peace and reunion with those who went before her.

In this time of grief, let us embrace the memories we shared with Cruz and hold them close. May her soul find eternal rest, and may her light continue to shine in our hearts.
