Crispin G Valenzuela

Crispin G. Valenzuela, 92, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Crispin, a resident of Anthony, Texas, was born December 5, 1919 to Juan de Dios and Juliana Gutierrez Valenzuela. Cris was a well known Master Barber in Anthony, TX., N.M. He was an avid Baseball player, fisherman, hunter, guitarist and proud member of the NRA. Crispin is survived by wife of 68 years, Amparo Mendez Valenzuela. Daughters, Margarita V. Young (Charles), Elizabeth V. Moore (Howard) and son, David M. Valenzuela. Crispin is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 brother, 7 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers are grandsons, Thomas J. Harrell III, Christopher P. Harrell, Marty Valenzuela, Aaron Cris Valenzuela, Michael T. Wooton and nephew, Rudy Luera. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Royal Estates Assisted Living Center (caregiver-Saul), Casa de Las Montañas Foster Home (caregiver-Narci), and Global Hospice for their loving care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Safe Haven No Kill Animal Shelter in Las Cruces, N.M. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm, Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at La Union Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West
