Cresencio Chavez

Cresencio Chavez, 98, entered into eternal rest on April 13, 2025 in El Paso, TX. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lilia Chavez Salgado. Sons, Martin Chavez and Cresencio Chavez Jr. Parents, Francisco Chavez and Manuela Acosta; along with 15 brothers and sisters. Cresencio is survived by his loving children, Francisco Chavez, Guillermo Chavez, Jesus Chavez, Lorenza Ceballos, Lilia Dominguez and Marisela Quiñones. Brother, Antonio Chavez. Also leaving behind 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren to honor and cherish his memory. Cresencio was very loved and will always be missed.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will begin at 9:30 AM on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at El Buen Pastor Catholic Church, 311 Peyton Rd, El Paso, TX 79928. A Graveside will follow at 11:00 AM at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938.
