Consuelo "Chelo" Talavera

Consuelo ”Chelo” Talavera, 89 passed away on September 23, 2009. She was a life long resident of El Paso and a member of Saint Pius X Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Talavera Jr., daughter Maria Luisa Mora, and her son; Lorenzo Talavera. She is survived by her sons; Jose Manuel Talavera, and Daniel Talavera, and her daughter; Consuelo Armendariz. She was a loving wife, great mother and most of all the best grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. She will always be in our hearts, we love and miss you dearly. Visitation will from 4-9 pm on Wednesday September 30, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-East Chapel of Remembrance, with a Vigil to be recited at 7 pm. The Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 12:30 pm Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Saint Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers are Victor Mora III, Danny Talavera Jr., Lorenzo Talavera, Adrin Gonzales, Christopher Meraz and Daniel Gonzales. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
