Consuelo Hughes

Consuelo Hughes, 61 has gone on to join God after a painful 3 ½-month battle with stomach cancer. During that time, God blessed her by showing her the love and support of her enormous family that came together and coordinated their time to help take care of her in her time of need. She was also blessed with the abundance of supportive friends that always wrote, called or stopped by to offer words of encouragement, their prayers and comfort. She is proceeded is death by her husband, Robert Hughes and her mother, Magdalena Marquez. She is survived by her Daughter; Hilda Bowman, Sons-in-law: Arnold Bowman, Step-daughter; Debra Rauschenberg, Grandchildren; Crystal, Karina, & Vanesa Lomeli, Step-grandchildren; Clara, Mathew & David Bowman, Lauren & Alec Rauschenberg, Father; Rafael Marquez, Brother’s; Rafael Jr., Ramiro, & Ramon, Sisters; Martha, Francisca, Guadalupe, Maria Elena, Blanca, Irma, & Hortencia, and numerous loving aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Ines Sanchez for all her tender love and support during this difficult journey. Graveside Service will be at 10:00 am, Friday, April 10, 2009 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
