Constance L Bandy

Constance Ann LaVie Bandy ended her year long struggle with cancer on January 13, 2008. She was born in the Territory of Hawaii March 28, 1950 to Phillip and Elsie LaVie, who both precede her in death. She was the younger of two children traveling the world as Army dependents with her brother Jon LaVie. She married Robert Bandy in Sierra Vista, Arizona in 1986 and moved to El Paso that same year. Connie is survived by her three sons and their wives, Scott Anderson and Jackie Shiek of Kannapolis, North Carolina, Kelly and Kelly Anderson of El Paso, Texas, and Donald and Michelle Anderson of Edmund, Oklahoma; her only daughter, Jessica Woodall of Edmund, Oklahoma; and six grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all that knew her and loved her. A memorial service for Connie will be held at the Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast at 4631 Hondo Pass, Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation be made to Hospice of El Paso, who gave Constance her last 48 days at home. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
