Concepcion Salas

Concepcion "Concha" Salas, 80, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother went to be with the Lord June 24, 2008 in El Paso, Texas. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by companion Roberto Medina, daughters: Concha Ramirez, Dora Salas, Cachi Alvarado (Enrique), Lucy Gomez (Arturo), and Celia "Sally" Salas. Sons: Manuel Gonzales (Juanita), Lupe Gonzales (Martha), George Gonzales (Joann), Francisco "Kiko" Salas (Ida), and Eddie Salas (Esther). Sisters, Anita Carrillo, Maria Garcia, and Petra Gallegos. Brothers, Pedro and Tony Gallegos. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren. Pall bearers will be Manuel Gonzales, Lupe Gonzales, George Gonzales, Kiko Salas, Eddie Salas and Roberto Medina. Visitation will be from 5 PM - 9 PM Friday, June 27 at Sunset Funeral Home-West 480 N. Resler Vigil at 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 28, at San Francisco de Assis Catholic Church (5750 Doniphan) at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow Mass at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery 4900 Mc Nutt, Sunland Park, NM. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-West.
