Clifford M. Boyd

Reverend Clifford M. Boyd Sr. was born on October, 22, 1938. He was an outstanding man of God, a loving husband and a devoted father. He married Delores Turner Boyd on May 10, 1954. A union that remained until the loss of his wife on December, 27, 2015. The union resulted in five children: Catherine E. Davis, Clifford Boyd Jr., William A. Boyd, Carlton Boyd, Delores Iheanacho; son-in-law Blessing Iheanacho and daughters-in-law, Priscilla Boyd and Arlene Boyd. He was the founder and Senior Pastor of Disciple of Christ Full Gospel Church. He firmly believed in God’s precepts and guided his family and numerous others into the knowledge of Jesus as Savior and King. He leaves in his memory, three children, fourteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He also leaves memories with his brother Clarence Boyd; his sister Shirley Boyd Williams and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many. His strength, guidance and kindness will never be forgotten. Visitation will begin at 11:00am with a Funeral Service at 12:00pm on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will follow at 2:00pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
