Claude F. Gilleland

Claude Franklin Gilleland was born in Catawba, North Carolina on August 17, 1928 and went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2009. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jean A. Gilleland; sisters, Mohe Eades and Gladys Gilleland, brothers, Bill Gilleland, Henry Gilleland, Kenneth Gilleland, and Bobby Gilleland. He is survived by sisters, Lena Eades, Virginia Matthews, and Josephine Martin, brother, Glenn Gilleland, daughter, Vera J. Gilleland, son, Claude F. Gilleland Jr., step-son, Thomas Michaud, four grandchildren, Benjamin Parra, Nicholas Parra, Joy Diaz, and Paige Michaud, six grandchildren, Joaquim, Josiah, and Jacinta Parra, Nicolas Parra, Cruz and Christina Diaz. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 pm, Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Graveside Service will be at 9:30 am, Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
