God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills hard to climb, so he closed your weary eyelids, and whispered peace be thine. It broke our hearts to loose you, but you didn’t go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home. Clara V. Rivera was born February 23, 1944. A long time resident of El Paso she passed away on Thursday May 24, 2007. She was born to Esther and J.B. Viscarra in Alamogordo, N.M. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel W. Rivera, Her brother Richard A. Viscarra, and her father Jesus B. Viscarra. She is survived by her husband Daniel, daughter Deborah, grandson Daniel (Tre’), and mother Esther Viscarra all of the family home in El Paso. She is also survived by her siblings Ralph Viscarra and Carlos Olvera, Becky and husband Dale Hagins, Harry and wife Elisa Viscarra, Fran Viscarra and husband Lawrence Arellano, George and wife Paige Viscarra, Steve and wife Janet Viscarra, Sue and husband Dan Parmenter, Joe and wife Linda Viscarra, and sister in law Helen Viscarra. She was a supervisor for Outreach Health Services where she worked happily for over 18 years until her retirement. She had many friends and was well respected by her employees. The family would like to take this opportunity to Thank Dr. Alfonso Chavez for all of his tireless dedication and help. It was well known the Love, Respect and Regard she carried in her heart for all of the staff of the Cliff View Dialysis Clinic. We Thank You for the exceptional care and love you shared each and every day. We would especially like to thank all of the Family and friends that were able to be to be with us those last moments. Your presence in our lives has been a great comfort. We love and Thank you for your help during that most difficult time. Visitation services will be held on Wednesday May 30, 2007 at 10:30 am at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast at 4631 Hondo Pass. The rosary will be held directly following visitation at 11:30 am at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. The Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located on 9025 Diana at 1:00 pm. Interment will be private. A reception will be held directly after funeral mass services at 9308 Dyer. Pallbearers will be brothers Ralph Viscarra, Harry Viscarra, George Viscarra, Steve Viscarra, Joe Viscarra and Nephew John Vullo. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
