Clara Belle Anderson

Clara B. Anderson, born on Feb. 11, 1921, passed away on April 2, 2007. She was a resident of El Paso since 1956 and was a member of the Westside Church of Christ. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene L. Anderson, who passed away in 1991. She is survived by two beloved daughters, Sandi Smith and Pamela Isaacson; granddaughters Erin and Lauren Isaacson, all of El Paso; granddaughter Christy, her husband Glenn and 2 great-grandsons, Sam and Max all of Austin, TX; a sister Mrs. Layfette Bennett, Jr. of Oklahoma City. She is survived by many wonderful friends too numerous to mention. Clara retired from White Sands Missle Range in 1983 as a Computer Programmer Analyst after 27 years in Government Service. She was a member and served on boards of The East El Paso Republican Women's Club, The Northeast El Paso Republican Women's Club, dual member of the West El Paso Republican Women's Club, and The Society of Military Widows. She was a long-time bridge player, and a member of ACBL. Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, April 6, 2007 at time 9 am at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
