Christopher Michael Dokie

Sunday evening, December 19, 2021, Christopher Micheal Dokie, loving son and devoted big brother, passed away at age 27. He was born May 23, 1994 in Tallahassee, Florida to Daniela Dokie and Peter Rittman. In 1999 he was moved to El Paso, TX. There are many things that mad Christopher happy such as football, music, entertaining and meeting new people. But the thing that made him happiest was the sound of laughter and he was great at making people laugh. Some of his most infamous one liners when he asked on the second day of kindergarten, “how much longer do I have to do this?” and “the only thing I learned how to do in college was play the card game Magic” He graduated from Irvin High School in 2012. He held a variety of jobs on his journey to discover a career that he would love. From his first job as a bouncer to his last job as a server, Christopher touched many hearts and lives with his compassionate spirit, infectious smile and his ability to make people laugh. In 2017 Christopher and his father connected. In 2018 Christopher had the best time of his life visiting his dad, step mom and siblings. Christopher was the trunk of the family tree! He is survived by his mother Daniela Dokie, brother Alexander Sebastian Lott, his father and step mother Peter and Jessica Nicole Rittman as well as five brothers: Peter Rittman III, Brandon Rittman, Gabriele Rittman, Phillip Lipplett, and Dominic Rittman and three sisters, Christyana Lipplett, Shianne Rittman and Khloii Rittman. He is also survived and beloved by his grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM, with Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Northeast Bible Restoration Church, 4925 Fairbanks Dr. In honor of Christopher’s happy nature, the family invites you to a luau style celebration of life immediately after the Funeral Services from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Party Zone 5720 Transmountain.
