In Loving Memory of Christina Valadez (Gigi) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christina Valadez, affectionately known as "Gigi," who departed this world on September 22nd, 2023, in El Paso, Texas. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born in the picturesque landscapes of Scotland, Christina brought her warmth and Scottish charm to her new home in El Paso, Texas, where she built a life with her late husband Macario filled with love, family, and unforgettable memories. Her legacy lives on through the hearts of her four children, Samuel, Robert, Linda, and James, who she nurtured and guided throughout their lives. Christina's love extended beyond her children, embracing a growing family that included nine cherished grandchildren Heather, Alexandra, Stephanie, Christina, Samuel, Gabriel, James, Autumn, and Breanna,  and four precious great-grandchildren Jesus Macario, Kinslee Lane, Olivia Jade, and Kaycee James. She had a special bond with each of them, creating lasting connections that will be treasured for generations. Gigi's spirit was marked by her boundless love, unwavering kindness, and her knack for bringing smiles to the faces of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her presence could light up any room, and her laughter was infectious. Her unconditional love for her entire family will continue to be a source of inspiration to us all. As we bid farewell to Christina, we find solace in the memories we shared and the love she leaves behind. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved her. Rest in peace, dear Christina Valadez (Gigi). Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive.  Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00am on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Blessed Sacrament, 9025 Diana Drive.  Committal Service to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson.  Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes – Northeast. www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net.
