You’ve reached a better place and now you can rest but we can never say good-bye…Charles Oliver Tarpley II passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008. He was born in Los Angeles, California on August 30, 1970 and raised in Compton. He started his life here in El Paso in 1987 and attended Coronado High. He worked for C.F. Jordan and Broken Arrows as a diesel mechanic, heavy machine operator, plumber and anything you could throw his way. He loved his wife and kids with all his heart and worked hard for them. He was dedicated to everything he did and was loyal to friends, family, and work. He was a man with a lot of wisdom…someone you could go to for a laugh or some advice. He loved to draw and dance and was always the life of the party. He was a true believer in “Work for the things that you need and strive for the things you want.“ Whether he was kicking it with the homies, working or spending time with the family, he always had a smile on his face and a fun joke to make you laugh. Charlie we love you. You’ll always be in our hearts. Thanks for the memories…we will never say goodbye. Survived by wife Lydia, children Lilliana, Charles, and Leah.
